Looks like Miley Cyrus' family is successfully mending those achy-breaky hearts. Last week, Billy Ray Cyrus announced that he wife and Tish were calling off the divorce they announced in October. And on Saturday, Tish chimed in with a Facebook message saying that the Cyruses really do feel like a family again.
"Big Thanks to all of our family, friends, and fans who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers," writes Miley's mom. "I feel so blessed to have so much support from all of you. Our family weathered a huge storm and I feel we are stronger than we have ever been!"
The reunion comes a little more than a month after GQ magazine published an explosive interview with Billy Ray, in which the country star claimed that Hannah Montana "destroyed my family" and that the Cyruses were under attack by Satan.
Uber-famous 18-year-old Miley hasn't spoken to the press about her parents' reunion, but she does seem to be feeling better -- at least, better enough to get back on Twitter. Though she hasn't logged on since quitting in 2009, Miley hopped onto Twitter on Monday to give some love to her fans.
"This is my new way to connect," Miley wrote from the account of her songwriting/production team, Rock Mafia. "When I need to speak out I will tweet from @Rock_Mafia. ROCK MAFIA FOREVER."
To verify the message, Miley tweeted a picture of herself in the studio. You can distinguish her tweets from the rest of the feed by the signature "xMC," which she wrote on a tweet about her favorite time of day (which then quickly became a trending topic, because she's, you know, Miley Cyrus).
The Rock Mafia folks say that Miley will continue to tweet from their page "till we convince her to make a new account." But a follow-up tweet from Miley makes it sound like that's not happening.
"Wanted to make it clear I'M NOT rejoining twitter," Cyrus declared. "Im only using it when with RM writing! Fans are the best way to get inspired. love u xMC"
We know that Miley's fans would love to see her lift the social media ban, but we hope that she's using all that non-Twitter, non-Facebook time to take care of herself and her family. People's sources say that Miley "seems happier and more relaxed in the past few days." Hopefully it will be smooth sailing for all the Cyruses from now on.
